Sägiberg bread

Our Sägiberg bread is a crusty, well-baked loaf that is easy to cut, making it a classic all-rounder.

It uses a small portion of sourdough starter as pre-dough, which gives the bread all the good properties of a sourdough (flavour and longer shelf life), without the sour taste.

We let the main dough stand for another 24 hours before shaping it. We then allow it to stand again before baking it to a crusty finish in our oven.
